The lumberjack is the ultimate North American icon. Four hundred years of westward expansion and deforestation have left only a handful of these rugged, plaid-wearing individuals wandering the woods searching for the last great "Timber!" In an age of rapid urban development and twenty-acre parking lots, the lumberjack seems out of place, dated. In "Fell," a lumberjack finds himself in Edinburgh, a city struggling with the clash of architectural heritage and modern expansion. But the lumberjack only knows the forest, and this urban confusion is too much for him. Yet he must face the challenge of his career and fell the urban monolith.
